Scott Schoenberger,
CSP; M.S.
Vice President
Scott is a Certified Safety Professional
and has a Master of Science Degree in
Risk Control. He came to Midwest Safety
Counselors in 1999 after working on the
East Coast as a Safety Director and
Corporate Auditor in the Chemical and
Paper Products Industry. He is focused
and committed to supporting all
customers in both the growing sales and
consulting sides of the business. Scott
is also a state certified Firefighter
and EMT serving the City of Woodbury. |
Eric Johnson, M.S.
Senior Safety Professional
Eric possesses a Master of Science
Degree in Environmental Health & Safety
and worked as Safety Director in the
Twin Cities area for eight years.
Currently, he specializes in
occupational safety in the construction
industry and serves customers in the
heavy construction and refinery
operations. Eric has successfully
managed large projects during outages
and has taken a leadership role in
managing our staff at the Flint Hills
Refinery. |
John Bestman
Senior
Safety Professional
John has a Bachelor of Science
degree in Environmental Technology
with over ten years of experience in the
fields of Industrial Hygiene and
Environmental Health and Safety. John’s
current focus is the support of our
customers in the petrochemical industry
as an Safety Professional and IH
Specialist. His background and
experience in industrial hygiene
monitoring and ability to develop
effective solutions to safety and health
challenges has proven to be a valuable
resource to both Midwest Safety
Counselors and our customers. |
Devin Boushek
M.S.
Safety Professional
Devin has a Master of Science degree in
Environmental Health and Safety and a
Bachelors degree in Microbiology. His
prior work experience included
internships governmental and
medical institutions.
Devin is
currently focused on supporting our
customers in the petrochemical industry
and utilities. |
Laura Lawless M.S.
Safety Professional
Laura has a Master of Science Degree in
Environmental Health & Safety from the
University of Minnesota-Duluth. Laura
was a lead consultant with MSC in the
late 1990's and has rejoined out team
having most recently serving as a
Director for the American Red Cross.
Laura's specialty is the development of
written EH&S programs and the design of
training modules. Laura serves as a
resource for a large variety of our
customer base with an emphasis on our
clients in the Alternative Fuels/Ethanol
Industry. |
Andrew Kamm M.S.
Safety Professional
Andrew has a Master of
Science degree in Environmental Health
and Safety and a Bachelors degree in
Marketing. He joins Midwest Safety
Counselors with experience in both the
construction and insurance industries.
Andrew is currently focused on
supporting our customers in the
petrochemical industry. |
Ben Close M.S.
Safety Professional
Ben recently joined our group and has a
Masters in Science degree in Risk
Control from the University of
Wisconsin-Stout. Ben is currently
focused on supporting our customers in
the petrochemical industry and heavy
construction. |
John Walker
Safety Technician
John has experience in several areas of
our EH&S services. He was recently
certified in the maintenance and
servicing of IH instrumentation and gas
monitors and is currently focused on
managing the servicing and distribution
of this equipment at our petrochemical
operations as well as field support,
including audits and training. |
Glenn Petersen
Safety Technician
Glenn joined Midwest
Safety Counselors after gaining
experience in the area of construction
safety with a Minnesota-based civil and
electrical contractor. Glenn currently
is focused on field safety and auditing
support at one of our large
petrochemical customers. |
Linda Petersen
Administration
Linda primarily provides administrative
and customer support to our sales team.
As a rapidly growing company, MSC has
needed increased support in the areas of
Human Resources and Accounting - Linda
has stepped up into these roles as well.
Her flexibility and attention to detail
has helped MSC continue to grow without
interruption of the high level customer
support and service we take such great
pride in. |
Yvonne Wood
Administration
Yvonne coordinates many of our services
we provide our customers in the
petrochemical industry. She brings over
a decade of experience in customer
services and technical support from the
insurance industry. Her strong
organizational skills, broad knowledge
base, and ability to coordinate several
job functions both effectively and
efficiently makes her a valuable asset
to MSC and the customers we serve. |
Kelly Rykel
Sales Territory Manager - Minnesota
Kelly has a Bachelors of Arts degree in
Public Administration from Hamline
University. She has over a dozen years
of industrial sales experience including
10 years specializing in Occupational
Health and Safety. As a former Inside
Sales Manager, Kelly's product knowledge
and customer service skills make her a
huge asset in MSC's drive to serve it's
Minnesota customer base. |
Chuck Rogness
Sales Territory Manager - Iowa
Chuck came to Midwest Safety Counselors
with over 25 years of experience in
sales. His product knowledge and
customer service skills have helped
Midwest Safety rapidly develop and grow
the Iowa market. He has also been an
excellent mentor and resource for the
rest of our sales staff. |
Jessica Pechacek
Inside Sales Representative
Jessica recently joined MSC with
experience in customer support from
working financial services. She has a degree in Business in
Marketing from Dakota County Technical
College. Jessica has responsibilities in
all aspects of product sales and also
has already begun to support the
consulting side of MSC. |
Kasha McLay
Sales Manager
Kasha has a Bachelor of Science Degree
in Communications Studies from the
University of Minnesota. She is focused
on managing all aspects of sales
including serving our customers' product
needs. Her
customer service skills and
strong work ethic have allowed us to
continue to provide excellent support to
our existing customers as well as
attracting new ones. |
Peggy Huston-Weaver
Services Technician
Peggy brought years of experience in the
management and facilitation of drug
testing services when she joined the MSC
team. Currently, Peggy helps administer
drug testing as well as other
specialized services for our customers
including respirator fit testing and the
management of training databases. |
