Scott
Schoenberger, M.S.
Vice President
Scott has a Master of
Science Degree in Risk Control. He came
to Midwest Safety Counselors in 1999
after working on the East Coast as a
Safety Director and Corporate Auditor in
the Chemical and Paper Products
Industry. Currently he is focused on
serving customers in the growing sales
and consulting sides of the business. Scott is also a
state certified Firefighter and EMT
serving the City of Woodbury. |

Eric
Johnson, M.S.
Operations Manager
Eric possesses a Masters
Degree in Environmental Health & Safety
and worked as Safety Director in the
Twin Cities area for eight years.
Currently, he specializes in
occupational safety in the construction
industry and
serves customers in the heavy
construction and refinery operations.
Eric has successfully managed large
projects during outages and has taken a
leadership role in managing our staff at
the Flint Hills Refinery.

Rhode, CSP
Senior Safety Professional
Mike is a
Certified Safety Professional with over
nine years of experience in petrochemical,
municipalities and manufacturing
industries. Mike’s current focus is the
support of our customers in the oil
refining industry. His experience has
proven to be invaluable to both Midwest
Safety Counselors and our clients.

John Bestman
Safety Professional and IH Specialist
John
has a B.S.
degree in Environmental Technology
with over eight years of
experience in the fields of
Industrial Hygiene and Environmental
Health and Safety. John’s current
focus is the support of our
customers in the oil refining
industry as a safety manager and
field auditor. His background and
experience in
industrial hygiene monitoring
and ability to develop effective
solutions to safety and health
challenges has proven to be a
valuable resource to both Midwest
Safety Counselors and our clients.

Rutledge
Safety Professional
John is an experienced field auditor
and manager in the area of occupational
safety and health. Currently John is
being utilized as a training coordinator
and instructor at one of our large
petrochemical customers. He also fills
several other roles for short and
long-term customer projects. His
technical skills and expertise in IT
also help John make a large contribution
to the overall efficiency and quality of
our services and products.

Kelly Rykel
Sales Territory Manager - MN
Kelly has a Bachelors of Arts degree
in Public Administration from Hamline University. She has over a
dozen years of industrial sales
experience including 8 years in
Occupational Health and Safety. As a
former Inside Sales Manager, Kelly's
product knowledge and customer
service skills make her a huge asset
in MSC's drive to expand its
metropolitan customer base. |
Chuck
Rogness
Sales Territory Manager - IA
Chuck recently came to Midwest Safety
Counselors with over 25 years of
experience in sales. His product
knowledge and customer service skills
have helped Midwest Safety rapidly
develop and grow the new Cedar Rapids
Office and Iowa area market. He has also
been an excellent mentor and resource
for the rest of our sales staff. |
Adriann
Munkeby
Office Manager
Adriann possesses a B.S. in Environmental
Education from the University of
Minnesota. Adriann manages our S.
St Paul sales office. She also specializes
in managing drug testing,
servicing industrial hygiene and
monitoring equipment, and accounting
systems. Her ability to develop
expertise and manage a wide variety of
services has been a vital asset to MSC. |
Kasha
McLay
Inside Sales Representative
Kasha recently received a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Communications Studies
from the University of Minnesota. She
currently is focused on serving our
customers' product needs in the Twin
Cities and surrounding areas. Her
customer service skills and strong work
ethic have allowed us to continue to
provide excellent support to our
existing customers as well as attracting
new ones. |

Michael Shorten
Safety Professional
Michael earned his Bachelor of Science
Degree in Occupational Safety and Health
from the University of Illinois. He
currently is working with a customer in
the oil pipeline industry, but soon will
be transitioning into his main role of
supporting our Iowa-based customers and
our customers in the Ethanol Industry
throughout the Midwest.

Pat Watson
Safety Professional
Pat has a strong background in
HAZMAT, HAZWOPER, and other related
environmental, health, and safety
disciplines. He is an experienced
instructor in these areas. Pat currently
supports our customers in the
petrochemical industry implementing
safety processes and auditing
performance. |
Michael Toth
Safety Professional
Michael is a recent addition to the MSC
team and brings years of valuable
experience as an instructor with
Northwest Airlines and Safety Director
with a construction company. Currently
Michael is serving as the Safety Manager
for a customer in the food processing
industry with locations in Minneapolis
and Las Vegas. |

Walker
Safety Technician
John has experience in several areas of
our OH&S services . He was recently
certified in the maintenance and
servicing of IH instrumentation and gas
monitors and is currently focused on
managing the servicing and distribution
of this equipment at our refinery
operations as well as field support.

Jessica Wilkins
Inside Sales Representative
Jessica manages inside sales and
supports outside sales for our Iowa
territory as well as customers based at
Flint Hills Refinery. She also helps
manage and service air monitoring
instrumentation for our customers in the
petrochemical industry. |
Glenn
Petersen
Safety Technician
Glenn came to Midwest Safety Counselors
after gaining experience in the area of
construction safety with a
Minnesota-based civil and electrical
contractor. Glenn currently is focused
on field safety and auditing support at
one of our large petrochemical
operations. |
Jake Rutledge
Safety Technician
Jake currently is focused on serving
one of our customers in the oil refining
industry. His scope of work includes
field audits, incident investigation,
development and delivery of training,
and special projects. |
Yvonne Wood
Administration
Yvonne recently joined Midwest
Safety Counselors and currently helps
support our team in petrochemical
operations. Her ability to fulfill
several job functions both effectively
and efficiently makes her a valuable
asset to MSC. |
Linda Petersen
Administration
Linda provides administrative and
customer support to our sales team in
both Minnesota and Iowa out of our Eden
Prairie office as well as managing Human
Resources. |
Peggy Weaver
Administration
Peggy is a recent addition to the MSC
team and currently is focused on
providing product and instrumentation
services to our customers
as well as drug testing services and
recordkeeping support. |
